Add a little burst of flavour to any boring burger with this Bacon Chutney recipe. It’s so good that you’ll want to spread it on everything.
Ingredients
  • 500g Lynca Meats cubed bacon
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup water
method
  1. Fry the bacon over medium heat until crisp and then drain excess fat.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Stir the mixture and continue to cook for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the mixture resembles a dark chutney.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
