Add a little burst of flavour to any boring burger with this Bacon Chutney recipe. It’s so good that you’ll want to spread it on everything.
- 500g Lynca Meats cubed bacon
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup water
- Fry the bacon over medium heat until crisp and then drain excess fat.
- Add the remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium-low.
- Stir the mixture and continue to cook for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the mixture resembles a dark chutney.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
