Make the perfect pork chops by searing them in a pan on a high heat and finishing them off in the oven. Follow the recipe below for more instructions.
- 1kg Lynca Meats Pork Loin Chops
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
FOR THE GLAZE:
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp beef broth
- 1½ tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic smashed
- In a saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients. Heat over medium heat until it reaches a low boil. Cook until sauce reduces down, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
- Pre-heat oven to 200°C.
- Rub the chops with olive oil, salt and pepper, place them in a frying pan over medium-high heat and sear for 2-3 minutes.
- Brush pork chops with maple balsamic glaze and place them in a oven dish. Bake for about 5-8 minutes on either side.
- Serve pork chops with a bit of glaze drizzled over the top.
