Try your hand at authentic Greek cuisine with our Pork Gyro recipe. The balance of succulent meat and refreshing flavours make for a seriously satisfying meal.
Ingredients
  • 1kg Lynca Meats pork loin, cut into strips
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 3 – 4 tbsps of olive oil
  • 1 – 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp salt

TO SERVE:

  • 4 pita bread
  • 1 cup tzatziki
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 red onion, diced
method
  1. All all ingredients into a bowl and mix together with your hands. Cover with cling wrap and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  2. Add the pork, along with the marinade into a large non-stick pan and sauté on high until the meat is brown, crispy and tender.
  3. Wrap the pork in pita bread, add the tzatziki and garnish with tomato and red onion.
  4. Serve and Enjoy!
