Try your hand at authentic Greek cuisine with our Pork Gyro recipe. The balance of succulent meat and refreshing flavours make for a seriously satisfying meal.
- 1kg Lynca Meats pork loin, cut into strips
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- ½ red onion, sliced
- 3 – 4 tbsps of olive oil
- 1 – 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp salt
TO SERVE:
- 4 pita bread
- 1 cup tzatziki
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 red onion, diced
- All all ingredients into a bowl and mix together with your hands. Cover with cling wrap and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Add the pork, along with the marinade into a large non-stick pan and sauté on high until the meat is brown, crispy and tender.
- Wrap the pork in pita bread, add the tzatziki and garnish with tomato and red onion.
- Serve and Enjoy!
